for Foreigners
An invitation to Ukraine – is a certain type of document that is the basis for a visa at the diplomatic mission or consulate of Ukraine abroad to be entered into Ukraine with a type “C” or “D” visa.
A foreigner can be invited to Ukraine by an individual (a citizen of Ukraine or a foreigner who has a residence permit or permanent residence), or a legal entity (a Ukrainian company).
Grounds for guest invitations
- citizen of Ukraine, wishing to invite a foreigner to Ukraine for the purpose of a guest visit;
- a foreigner with a residence permit / permanent residence wishing to invite a foreigner to Ukraine for the purpose of a guest visit;
- citizen of Ukraine, who wishes to invite a foreigner to reunite with his family;
- a foreigner with a residence permit / permanent residence who wishes to invite a foreigner to reunite with his family;
- citizen of Ukraine, wishing to invite a foreigner to marry;
- a foreigner with a residence permit / permanent residence who wishes to invite a foreigner to marry.
Grounds for business invitation
- Ukrainian company wishing to invite foreign businesspersons or investors to Ukraine;
- Foreign businesspersons and investors from countries with the possibility of issuing a visa upon arrival in airports of Ukraine;
- Russian businesspersons, to confirm the business goals of staying in Ukraine.
